1. Parties & Acceptance
1.1 These Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”) govern your use of the Ace Services mobile application, website and associated APIs (the “Platform”). They form a binding contract between:
- Ace Services Global Ltd. (“Ace Services”, "Ace", “we”, “our” or “us”), a company registered in England and Wales (no. 16447687) whose registered office is 1a Electric Parade, Seven Kings Road, Ilford, Essex, United Kingdom, IG3 8BY; and
- You, the customer, that creates an account on the Platform (the “Customer”, "Requester", “you” or “your”).
1.2 By registering or using the App, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them, alongside our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1.3 These Terms are legally binding and include our Privacy Policy and any additional guidelines provided through the App.
2. Definitions
2.1 In these Terms and Conditions, the following words and expressions have the following meanings:
- Service Provider: Professionals, sole traders, or companies offering services via Ace Services.
- Requester/Customer: Users posting service requests to obtain quotes.
- Job/Request: Tasks or services posted by Customers.
- Quote: Proposals or prices submitted by Service Providers.
- Service Agreement: The separate agreement—verbal or written—between the Provider and Customer for the delivery of services. Ace Services is not a party.
- Content: Material posted by users, including reviews or descriptions.
3. Eligibility & Account Security
3.1 You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of forming binding contracts.
3.2 Keep your account secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
3.3 The App is not intended for use by children or individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
4. Connecting Customers with Service Providers
4.1 Ace Services Global Ltd operates the Ace Services mobile application (the "App") to help Customers connect with independent professionals and businesses ("Service Providers") offering a variety of local services.
4.2 By posting a service request ("Job") in the App, you agree to these Terms and a facilitation relationship is created between you and Ace Services. If you choose to hire a Service Provider, you will enter into a separate service agreement with them for the actual services.
4.3 Customers can post detailed service requests through the App.
4.4 Our matching system identifies and notifies Service Providers who may meet your criteria.
4.5 Quotes may be submitted by Service Providers directly in the App.
4.6 You may receive multiple quotes for your Job and can choose whether to contact or hire any of the Service Providers.
4.7 You are not obligated to accept any quote received.
4.8 Ace Services may verify your contact information and location. If details are invalid or fall outside our operational area, your request may be rejected.
4.9 You are solely responsible for verifying a Service Provider’s qualifications, insurance, and suitability before hiring.
4.10 Accepting a quote forms a separate Service Agreement between you and the Service Provider.
4.11 Ace Services is not a party to any Service Agreement and does not monitor or control the work performed.
4.12 Where available, the App may link to a Service Provider’s external website or display customer reviews. Ace Services is not responsible for third-party content.
4.13 You may leave a review after a Job is completed. Reviews must be honest, respectful, and based on your genuine experience.
4.14 We may remove reviews that are offensive, false, or misleading, and may limit reviewing access if misuse is detected.
4.15 These facilitation services are offered to Customers free of charge.
Important: Ace Services acts only as a facilitator of introductions between Customers and independent Service Providers. Any services provided as a result of such introductions are subject to a separate legal contract between you and the Service Provider. Ace Services is not a party to that contract and does not supervise, control, or guarantee the performance or quality of services delivered. If there are any issues, your legal rights of redress are against the Service Provider directly, and not Ace Services.
5. Use of the Ace Services App
You must not:
- Post fake jobs or misleading information.
- Impersonate or submit false details.
- Harm or misuse the platform or other users.
- Share your account credentials.
- Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or use the App to create competing services.
6. Contracts with Service Providers
6.1 Accepting a quote forms a separate Service Agreement between you and the Service Provider.
6.2 Ace Services is not involved in your Service Agreement negotiations, does not endorse providers, nor guarantees their qualifications, licences, or insurance.
6.3 You must independently verify Service Providers' credentials and suitability.
7. Liability & Disclaimer
7.1 You acknowledge that any contract for services is strictly between you and the Service Provider. Ace Services does not supervise, direct, control, or monitor the Service Provider in the performance of their work, and we are not responsible for their actions or omissions.
7.2 We have no liability in respect of the provision, performance, or quality of the services delivered by any Service Provider.
7.3 Any delays, breaches of agreement, or misrepresentations by a Service Provider are the sole responsibility of that Service Provider.
7.4 You are solely responsible for evaluating the suitability, credentials, and reliability of any Service Provider.
7.5 We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from content or information found on third-party websites linked through the App.
7.6 We only provide our services for domestic and private use. You agree not to use the App for any commercial or business purposes, and we have no liability to you for any business-related losses such as loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, or reputation.
7.7 We are not liable for:
- Any act or omission of Service Providers.
- Damages resulting from your Service Agreements.
- Loss of profits, business, or revenue.
- Business interruption or loss of anticipated savings.
- Loss of goodwill or indirect or consequential losses.
7.8 As Ace Services Ltd does not form part of any agreement made between Customers and Service Providers, you release Ace Services Ltd, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, disputes, or demands arising out of or in any way connected with your dealings with Service Providers, including those relating to service quality, performance, or refunds. This release does not apply to claims relating to our own breach of duty under these Terms.
7.9 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for:
- Death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.
- Our own fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
- Any matter which cannot legally be limited or excluded.
8. User Reviews & Feedback
8.1 Reviews must be honest, based on personal experience, and free from offensive, misleading, or unlawful content.
8.2 We may remove feedback that violates these rules or appears fraudulent.
8.3 We may disclose your identity to Service Providers if legally required.
9. Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, truthful information.
- Act respectfully and lawfully.
- Not misuse the App.
10. Service Availability & Maintenance
10.1 We strive for continuous availability but may temporarily suspend access for maintenance or emergencies.
10.2 We are not liable for outages beyond our reasonable control.
11. Content Standards
11.1 Content you post must not:
- Contain inappropriate or illegal material.
- Include personal contact details or promotional links.
11.2 We may modify or remove violating content.
12. Intellectual Property
12.1 All intellectual property rights in the App are owned by Ace Services Ltd or licensed to us.
12.2 You have a limited, non-transferable licence for personal, non-commercial use.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Ace Services Ltd against claims or losses arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the App.
14. Termination & Suspension
14.1 We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, provide misleading information, or pose risks to the platform.
14.2 You can terminate your account anytime within App settings.
15. Complaints & Disputes
15.1 Contact us first at support@aceservices.app to resolve complaints amicably.
15.2 If unresolved, either party may refer the matter to independent mediation through CEDR (www.cedr.com).
16. Data Protection
16.1 Your data is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
16.2 You must ensure all submitted personal data is lawful and accurate.
17. Recording Communications
We may record phone calls or other communications for quality assurance, training, or compliance purposes.
18. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be notified via App or email. Continued use after changes implies acceptance.
19. Other Legal Provisions
- Force Majeure: Neither party is liable for failures beyond reasonable control.
- Assignment: We may assign these Terms. You may not without consent.
- Severability: Invalid terms do not affect the validity of remaining Terms.
- No Waiver: Delays in enforcement do not waive our rights.
- Third-party rights: These Terms are between you and us only.
20. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by English law. Disputes may be addressed in English courts or your local courts in Scotland or Northern Ireland.
