Do I have to pay to post a job on Ace?

No, posting a job on Ace is completely free. We only charge service providers a small fee when their quote is accepted by you.

What happens after I've posted my job?

Once your job is posted, we notify local service providers so they can submit quotes. You’ll receive a notification whenever a new quote comes in. You can then review each provider’s profile, ratings, and feedback before deciding. Your contact details are only shared when you accept a quote.

What happens after I accept a quote?

Once you accept a quote, the service provider is notified and can view your contact details. They’ll get in touch shortly to arrange the next steps and schedule the work.

How can I leave a review for a service provider?

Once the work is complete, you can leave a review by closing the job:

  • Go to the accepted job
  • Tap ‘Close Job’
  • The accepted provider will be pre-selected
  • On submission, you’ll be able to leave your review.

How do I cancel my job?

You can cancel a job at any time. Simply follow these steps:

  • Log in and go to “My Jobs”
  • Select the job you want to cancel
  • Tap “Close Job”

If you hired a provider, please consider leaving a review.

Job status not updating?

Just pull down on the 'My Jobs' screen to refresh. This ensures you're seeing the most current information.

Can I cancel my accepted quote?

Yes, you can cancel an accepted quote. Go to ‘View Quote’ for the relevant job and tap ‘Cancel’. The provider will be notified automatically, but it’s courteous to let them know directly.

What happens if a provider cancels their accepted quote?

If a provider can’t reach you or the job doesn’t proceed, they may contact support to cancel. You’ll then be notified and can choose another quote or close the job.
